lyrics

Almost (the) lost again

Walking for hours. Soaked by the pouring rain. The goal’s still insight but footprints will not remain. Every hour he’s checking direction and more. Then realizing: Oh, no I’ve been here before. Memories have passed. Made him a different man. Still lucid: his mind. But meanings are fading away. Every hour he switches between faith and fear. Asking himself: Present or past? Am I here? Goal still in sight. Forces beginning to fade. Back to beginning. How much can one man bear? Every hour switching between fear and hope. Almost the lost, almost lost again. Wandering and searching and longing and turning between faith and fear he is keeping his way. He finally starts realizing he’s running in circles and will not be arriving today.
